Due to expected severe weather conditions, all New York City Public Schools are closed Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

All instruction will take place remotely.

Children attending LYFE or a 3K or Pre-K program in an elementary school or Pre-K Center should participate in the remote learning experiences outlined by their program.

After-school programs, Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) activities, adult education, and YABC programs are canceled tomorrow.

For safety reasons, yellow bus service for charter and non-public school students will not operate tomorrow.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for tomorrow through 6PM.

Snow is anticipated to begin at 4AM and continue through 6PM.

We are working in close communication with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and NYC Emergency Management (NYCEM) throughout the next 24 hours.

New York City Public Schools Central and field offices will remain open. We urge staff to exercise caution when going outside and to use public transportation whenever possible.

Safety is of the utmost importance. If you must travel, use extreme caution and allow for additional travel time.
