Have you ever heard of the importance of taking care of your microbiome? Willing to bet that you have! It's been a trending topic floating around (no pun intended 🐛) on the web for a while. Gut flora health is ultra important for your overall gut health. It provides us with nutrients and vitamins that are essential. Healthy lining in the gut protects us from inflammation and 'bad bugs'. Lots of health issues START in the gut. A healthy microbiome = a healthy body and mind. We can protect our gut flora by eating a fiber-rich diet, cutting out processed foods and sugar, AND eating enough fruits and veggies a day. Strengthening your microbiome can lead to higher energy levels, better sleep, improved memory, better skin, and a happier mood! (who knew!)
