thinking of the many facets of motherhood...
I am mothered by my own mother and grandmother, by my mothers friends and by my own friends. It’s in our DNA, how Mother Nature makes us- nurturers of the world. Rather we are mothers of our own children defined by blood and heritage, or and by the children we find through our journey in this life: friends, students, lovers...
today is a day of honoring woman- our womb holds the world steady with the wisdom and grace in each of us ✨ I hope I can be a pillar of strength, inspiration, security and love for my children and that they can be as lucky as I am to have so many incredible woman in their lives who complement the wild circle of motherhood that it is. It does take a whole village and this is exactly what I’m talking about.
thankful to my main mama birds mami Lili, who are the source of everything good in my life and true Hero mamas who put up with so much for me. and to all my fairies, my friends who build a nest of so much love and nurture for me.
My respect and love for each and every woman grows each day as I grow and mature and I hope we can all build a chain of strength for each other. So much love to all you incredible mamas, listeners, healers of the world 🤍
