Master Lane Changes with the Quadrant Rule! 🚗🛣️
Changing lanes can be tricky, but it doesn't have to be! In this video, we break down the "Quadrant Rule" to help you judge distance and speed using your wing mirrors.
What you'll learn:
Quadrant 1 (Top Right): The safest time to merge. The car is far enough for a smooth transition.
Quadrant 2 (Bottom Right): Use caution! The vehicle is getting closer; signal early and ensure you have enough speed.
Quadrant 3 (Bottom Left): STOP! The car is too close and in your danger zone. Never change lanes here.

🖐️ Are You Holding the Wheel Correctly?
Did you know that where you place your hands on the steering wheel can save your life? 🚗💨 Safety isn't just about speed; it’s about control.
Many of us were taught the "10 and 2" position, but with modern airbags, experts now recommend the 9 and 3 position (The Green Zone!) for the best balance and safety.
🚦 The Breakdown:
✅ 9 & 3 (BEST): Offers maximum leverage and keeps your arms away from the airbag deployment zone.
🟤 8 & 4 or 10 & 2 (NORMAL): Acceptable for cruising, but gives you less control during quick maneuvers.
🛑 The Red Zone (DANGER): Holding the wheel at the top (12) or the very bottom (5, 6, 7) is dangerous during emergencies and can lead to serious injury if the airbag goes off.
Check your grip next time you drive! Small changes make a big difference in road safety. 🛡️
