Celebrating Mother’s Day it’s about gratitude for my mom and all the mother figure’s I have had in this world. As the twins have grown, it’s also been about allowing my kids to get excited and do special things with their dad for me.

This year, it was sleeping till 7 am, spin class, solo solo trip to target and coming home to all of this.

If you are not a planner, you are about to become one. Seriously, having multiples means EVERYTHING for your pregnancy must happen early and you must plan for their healthy and happy arrival. First and second trimester are critical for the babes, and for yourself and your partner.

Planning will help keep you grounded and reveling in the magic of creating multiple humans in your body at once. (Yeah.. that's what you're doing).

Ask questions. Find your tribe. Do your research. Set your goals. Develop or root your family values. Your ethos.
*
Your goal is to bring happy humans into the world and raise them to be happy, healthy, and emotionally aware. Practice what you preach!

Two for one special ! Buy one, get two free! High five your partner!

All joking aside, this is the mantra that we repeat DAILY to each other. This is a magical experience. Raising multiples levels the parenting playing field.

Most families we talk to experience the same feeling. Multiples equals time to step up... TOGETHER. You will go through the good, bad and ugly as one.
*
Partnership will never be more important that it is right now. Start early and do the work. Be emotional. Be vulnerable. Share your hopes. Share your fears. Give yourself the time and space you need to honor this experience. for each other, for your relationship, and for your kids.
*
Talk about everything from your birth plan to sleeping training to schedules. Take the time to shore up your relationship, because you will need to be a strong unit once the babes arrive.
*

Be stoked! Find your people (yay, you already have because you are here!), do your homework, have a real talk with your spouse about what you want, plan for what you want to happen and plan for all that you don't want to happen.
