Hi!
I am so excited to share a reading and creative writing resource for young learners. It is called FOR THE LOVE OF WORDS, and it is a website and newsletter that is part book club, part creative writing workshop.
Each month we read some of the best in modern and classic children's literature. I provide interesting info and background on the book and a chapter by chapter breakdown and questions to help further engage with the story. As well as a writing lesson and creative prompt for kids to bring their own imagination into what they are reading.
The best age for this resource is 8-13. It accommodates readers/writers who need more assistance as well as those who are looking for a challenge.
This educational content is currently FREE. Yes, FREE. It will eventually transition to a paid subscription, meaning limited access to reading guides and writing prompts.
It's still young days, but I would sincerely appreciate you sharing this with anyone who would benefit or would be interested in something like this. Any subscription helps, even the free ones! Thank you for sharing with any families or young learners in your life.
