Which Talmud do you prefer?

The Babylonian Talmud is the most oft-consulted. The Palestinian Talmud is, however, older and might be considered the original.

Its name in Hebrew is the "Jerusalemite Talmud" although it was redacted in the Gallilee (the Northern Countryside). Nevertheless, the Torah scholars who redacted the Oral Tradition תורה שבעל פה named it after the capital בירה out of respect for the Land of Israel ארץ הקודש. These are our Sages of Blessed Memory חז"ל (Chazal).

The Two Talmudim cooperate synergistically.
