Why not try

・・・

And that's why CO2 emissions drop like a stone if you follow a vegetarian or a vegan diet.

We need a massive shift towards more plant-based diets, especially in rich meat-eating countries.

You can be vegan or you can just eat less meat. Try it !!!

Swapping just 1/5 of our beef consumption for vegan proteins could dramatically slow the pace of future deforestation.

Happy New Year! Don’t forget to bring your tree to a nearby New York City park to have it mulched. You can take home a bag of mulch next weekend. Please REMOVE all lights, ornaments, and any other decorations before bringing your tree to a drop off site.

Gift cards are great but they shouldn’t be around forever!

with .repost
・・・
HOLIDAY ALERT! 🎁Gift cards are a convenient and popular giving choice that are big business (roughly $173 billion dollars’ worth of gift cards were sold in the US in 2021.)

💳Unfortunately, many big brand companies are choosing to make their gift cards from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic.

☠️Vinyl chloride, the building block of PVC, is a human carcinogen and creating PVC requires the use of cancer-causing chemicals with a history of sickening workers☣️ and causing fires that are harmful to nearby communities.🔥

😮Not only is PVC plastic not accepted by curbside recycling programs, it is also one of the most hazardous types of plastic, sickening workers and resulting in waste that the EPA is considering regulating as "hazardous".

😊The good news is that safe, non-toxic and fully recyclable alternatives exist! ♻️

👉Join us in calling on and - the four largest sellers of gift cards in the US to switch from polluting PVC cards to either paper or digital gift cards ASAP. You can contact their senior leadership at https://bit.ly/pvc-cards or scan the QR code.

Thanks in advance for sharing.
