The Lev L’Am Award is presented to individuals whose steadfast dedication to Am Yisrael and unwavering support for the Jewish people in Israel reflect the deepest values of our Yeshiva. “Lev L’Am” — a heart for our people, honors those who feel the joys and challenges of Klal Yisrael as their own, translating that connection into meaningful action through chessed, advocacy, leadership, or quiet generosity.
We are proud to present this award to Mira and Yakir Wachstock whose tireless efforts on behalf of IDF soldiers and the people of Israel embody this honor. Through fundraising and delivering life-saving equipment to those defending our homeland, they have demonstrated extraordinary leadership, compassion, and courage.
The Wachstock’s sons, Rami (‘23), Ilan (‘25), and Azi (‘28) stand as living reflections of the values their parents model every day, representing the very best of the YUHSB mission. Mira and Yakir Wachstock exemplify a deep commitment to Torah, community, and Klal Yisrael, inspiring our talmidim and strengthening our entire Yeshiva community.
