🌴📚 What a fun week in Pre-K! We read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, built trees in a STEM activity to see how many letters they could hold, sorted letters and numbers, practiced opposites, counted Pete the Cat’s buttons, explored shapes, and played a fun color search game! 🔤🔢🎨

So much learning, exploring, and fun! ❤️

For Mini Course today, our third graders made kindness rocks! Each student created two rocks, sharing positive messages and thoughtful designs.

Students placed one of their rocks in the rock garden outside for someone to pick up whenever they need a little encouragement, kindness, or hope. We love seeing our students spread kindness throughout our school community! ❤️🖤

🐦🏠 Research in Action! 🔍📚

Our 4th graders are kicking off an exciting new research project! They’re investigating ways to help solve the bird problem at our front entrance—with their research eventually leading to the creation of birdhouses! ❤️🖤

Today, students became researchers by developing their own research questions and getting to work finding answers. We can’t wait to see where their research takes them and the birdhouse creations they design along the way!

We love seeing our students use research, creativity, and problem-solving to tackle a real need right here at our school! 🐦🏠✨

🎥❤️🖤 MBC News is LIVE! 🖤❤️🎥

This morning marked our first MBC News broadcast of the school year, and our new crew kicked things off by going LIVE from the gym in front of our students and staff for their very first show! 🎬🎤

MBC News is such a special part of our mornings at Midway. Each day, our news crew broadcasts live while classrooms across the school tune in to start their day together. Our crew keeps everyone informed and entertained by sharing the weather, lunch menu, joke of the day, important events and reminders, safety tips, special shoutouts, and more. They also help lead our school in the Pledge of Allegiance each morning. 🇺🇸
