We’re so proud of our mentor team LAUNCH TEAM Robotics! They pour into the community like no other, and they earned the high coveted honor of winning the FIRST Impact Award at the FIRST Robotics World Championships! Congratulations!

Launch Team Robotics, founded by former Paradise Honors student Stephen Robertson, was created to remove barriers and give kids across the Valley free access to hands-on STEM education.

From our first matches at the AZ North Regional to an incredible showing at the Utah Regional, this group of students put in the kind of effort that shows! Between competitions, they took on a full robot rebuild, spending long hours problem-solving, redesigning, and pushing themselves to improve. That work paid off in a big way: we came back stronger, made it to the playoffs, finished 6th overall, and are now ranked #5 in Arizona.

None of this happens without the people behind the scenes. A huge thank you to our dedicated team mentors and parents who showed up, supported, and kept everything running, and to our sponsors whose generosity allows our students to learn, build, and compete at this level.

Most of all, we’re proud of the grit, resilience, and teamwork these students showed every step of the way. They earned every bit of this success—and they’re just getting started!! We are now getting ready for offseason training and competitions!
