Im considering starting a ZOOM group just for violin fun and social interaction. It could be an open mic sort of thing and you can share..or not! Its beneficial for your progress to play and/ or watch others play. Im considering using the platform to do book graduations ceremonies as well, which can include extended families! I would appreciate feedback from everyone!

Hi Everyone,
Im blessed to have a new studio space to teach from and at this time i am no longer offering in home lessons. We are still practicing safety measures to meet your individual needs and requests.
Also , many of you have acquired /updated your online learning skills and i am available for Facetime and Zoom for private lessons or group programming and entertainment.

If you are new i absolutely encourage in person lessons until you master the basic techniques to be able to progress on your own which include not just playing but how to care for your violin, tuning, replacing strings...etc.

As always i appreciate you! Have Fun and may your string always be strung!

MUSIC ALERT!! We have a GREAT music week lined up for you this week!! On Wednesday, we welcome Brennady Barnes to the patio from 7-9. She plays the fiddle and violin with a Celtic twist! On Thursday, Geo takes the stage from 7:30-9:30. On Friday, we welcome Kearstin Clark for the first time from 7-9 in a show that you won't want to miss. Then on Saturday, Greg and Shayne are back by popular demand from 7-9! We can't wait for you to join us this week!

GINGERBEE STUDIOS May Newsletter
We are planning summer camps located at our studio with a Fun/ Performance Day at Woods Tall Timber Resort beginning in June. They are being designed with a limited availability of six students per session. We feel that we can easily comply with social distancing and sanitation recommendations while still gathering for educational fun and companionship! The day camps will provide intensive violin skills training along with some music theory and a fun break Art project! The art project will incorporate the learning of a technique that will produce a marketable product that can be displayed for sale at a another partner event with Alley Cat MarketPlace.

We are opening back up for business for in person , private lessons beginning May 18. We will have a new appointment procedure and summer schedule. The schedule will allow for 15 minutes time in between lessons. Please contact us to choose your lesson time on a first come, first serve basis.

We are not a business that legally had to close because we can gather in groups of less than ten. The businesses we will partner with are under no legal orders to not be open. Private lessons are just the instructor and student at a safe distance. Online instruction is just not very conducive to learning how to play the violin. For an advanced students it will suffice but is not ideal. If you still want to continue distance learning it will still be offered. Please don’t hesitate to call us with any questions or concerns. We are doing our best to remain in business because we believe we are an “essential” business. We are educators and Music and Art is Food for the mind and soul🎻🎨❣️
