The Joy Of Shred

The Joy Of Shred In our daily lives we spend so much time working the last thing you want is to feel your hobby requires more work. You don’t work guitar you play guitar.

The Joy Of Shred – The direct path to guitar enlightenment.

“I need to work on my playing”
This is a familiar phrase to all of us who have spent any significant amount of time playing guitar. I have heard it and used it myself a thousand times as both a teacher and a player “I need to work on my playing.” then one day it struck me that this phrase is an oxymoron. Whenever you have your instrument

in your hand you should be playing the same way a child plays with their toys. It should be the time where you allow yourself the opportunity to have fun, use your imagination and above all enjoy yourself. My lessons are set up so that you enjoy your practice time, they are based entirely on the creation and playing of music. I can help you reach your musical goals and achieve pro level chops without ever feeling like you are “working”. I teach private one on one and group lessons in Brooklyn NY. My lessons encompass all styles and levels of Metal, Rock and Blues guitar playing. I am a teacher who is personally invested in the progress and growth of my students. I have over 22 years of experience and I have a proven step by step curriculum designed to improve all aspects of your playing abilities no matter what your level of experience. Hands down, there’s no better teacher, and no better guy to teach you how to play (and rock at) guitar.

“What I think the most important thing I have learned from taking classes from Joe is the acquisition of making it a habit to practice my guitar, with intention, as a professional musician, not just someone who wants to play songs by the campfire. But, I apologize, if campfire songs are your thing, I'm pretty sure he can teach you that too”
- Ronnie Andrade - Graduate Institute of audio research, guitar instructor at Dyman Music.
