The last project that our interns built was this picnic table and benches for . Their community garden is all donated to families in need. We love that we were able to build their volunteers a comfy place to chill out between harvesting.

This summer we brought on 6 Mayor's Summer Youth interns. For 6 weeks we built projects for local organizations that specialize in community outreach. Here we are delivering an ADA certified raised garden bed for . We are so happy that we were able to teach valuable lessons and create a tangible item that will help the people of New Orleans.

Our Mayor's Summer Youth interns have been hard at work. This project is in partnership with a local community garden. After just 4 short weeks we are so impressed with the quality of their work. The only thing left is to prime and paint it.
