We get to direct protected wellness days every quarter to get together or just take a break. As busy as residency can be, we know the importance of taking time to just be humans 😌

We had a great journal club yesterday evening along with our Tulane Plastic Surgery colleagues . The food was fantastic and the discussion was lively!

Thank you for coming to New Orleans and having an amazing discussion with us about RPNI and your next chapter in peripheral nerve innovation! We learned so much about nerve reconstruction, medical devices and balancing the triple threat of being a surgeon, researcher and teacher.

As we celebrate Easter weekend, let's not forget the importance of giving back to those in need. This weekend, some of the residents had the honor of volunteering at the New Orleans food bank, where they helped provide meals for those who are less fortunate. It was a humbling experience, and a reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone's life. So, as you enjoy your holiday weekend, consider giving back to your community and spreading some love and kindness. Happy Easter! 🐰🥚🌷
