🚨🎸This evening at the BCHS Auditorium, the BCHS AV CLUB will host the performance of local band, Carnage. 🥁Following the cancellation of the school's talent show, Parker and Jonas, seniors in the BCHS A/V Club, have organized a talent showcase as a club fundraiser, leveraging their extensive experience in previous talent shows. Furthermore, having worked on the installation of the stage lighting system this year, Parker and Jonas have a dual role in the event, both performing and handling the custom lighting programming to create a light show. Along with other club members, they will also be mixing their own sound!

🤩The showcase promises to be an exciting event! We encourage everyone who loves music from bands such as Nirvana and Alice In Chains to attend. We don’t want to give away the entire setlist but it will be well worth the price of admission!!

🎟️Tickets are priced at $5 for adults and $2 for students, with the doors opening at 5pm. BCHS A/V Club

🌧️ A rainy day doesn’t stop AV Club! This past weekend, our two Senior members had the opportunity to shadow Club sponsor, Chad Arbourgh, while he was providing sound to all of the bands who played at the Plaquemines Parish Seafood Festival.

📝Parker and Jonas learned valuable skills such as pre-event setup, efficiency setting up a band with a short turnaround, working with musicians and providing excellent support, and troubleshooting during a live event. The bands were all excited to hear that we are teaching the future generation of stage sound engineers!🤩 And the kids were able to put some of the skills that they’ve learned through the AVIXA Tech Crew to good use!

🥁 🎺We would like to thank all of the bands, but due to a rain delay, the boys had the most time to work with Louisiana Landfall. They were a wealth of knowledge and so kind answering any questions they had.

🦞🦐We would also like to thank the Seafood Festival for their unwavering support of the community! At the end of the day, their dedication to empowering organizations and clubs to become more involved in community events benefits the individual and our Parish as a whole💙
