BCHS A/V Club

🌧️ A rainy day doesn’t stop AV Club! This past weekend, our two Senior members had the opportunity to shadow Club sponsor, Chad Arbourgh, while he was providing sound to all of the bands who played at the Plaquemines Parish Seafood Festival.

📝Parker and Jonas learned valuable skills such as pre-event setup, efficiency setting up a band with a short turnaround, working with musicians and providing excellent support, and troubleshooting during a live event. The bands were all excited to hear that we are teaching the future generation of stage sound engineers!🤩 And the kids were able to put some of the skills that they’ve learned through the AVIXA Tech Crew to good use!

🥁 🎺We would like to thank all of the bands, but due to a rain delay, the boys had the most time to work with Louisiana Landfall. They were a wealth of knowledge and so kind answering any questions they had.

🦞🦐We would also like to thank the Seafood Festival for their unwavering support of the community! At the end of the day, their dedication to empowering organizations and clubs to become more involved in community events benefits the individual and our Parish as a whole💙

Lights! Camera! Action! AV Club members are assisting the Drama Club with their production of Grease! 🔦📸📽️

Today the Club is working on learning the program software that will control the new and improved Belle Chasse High School auditorium stage lighting 🎥 🍿 ⭐️
