Happy 👅 • Retractable leashes are not a good tool to use when training your dog. When you're walking/working with your dog the goal is to keep them engaged on you and the Retractable leash is counter productive in this aspect.✌🏿's

If your dog naturally does a behavior and you want her/him to do it on command, name the behavior, once your dog completes the action, give verbal praise, reward and repeat.
Example: Teddy naturally does the downward dog pose, so I named the command "downward dog". When she does it i say GOOD! Your downward dog is good! Then I give her a treat and repeat. Definitely try this at home. ✌🏿's
