Life doesn’t slow down when anxiety, stress, pressure, or overwhelming moments hit. School, friendships, family stuff, expectations—it can all feel heavy.

But what if you didn’t have to carry it alone?

Closer is a new series about learning to turn to God first through prayer instead of trying to handle everything on your own. Through Scripture and real, honest conversations about prayer, we’ll discover that God actually cares about what you’re walking through—your worries, questions, fears, and everyday struggles.

You don’t have to have all the answers.
Just come closer.

How much do you really know about Easter?
Join us Sunday as we will be talk about how real doubt is and that it’s everywhere.
We’re looking at the truth of the resurrection of Jesus—not just as a story, but as a real event in history. Through Scripture, like 1 Corinthians 15, and real evidence, we’re breaking down the common theories and discovering why they don’t hold up.
Faith isn’t blind. It’s built on truth.
Our prayer? That students grow in a faith that’s confident, unshaken, and ready to stand strong in a world full of questions.

Sometimes the hardest person to forgive… is ourselves.
Join us tomorrow in Student Life as we talk about forgiveness — not just forgiving others, but learning to give ourselves grace too. We all mess up. We all have moments we wish we could redo. But holding onto guilt, shame, or regret only keeps us stuck.
The good news? Because of what Jesus Christ did for us, forgiveness is real and available. That means we don’t have to live weighed down by our past. We can learn from it, grow from it, and move forward with grace.
Forgiveness isn’t pretending something didn’t happen. It’s choosing to release the weight of it and trusting that God’s grace is bigger than our mistakes.
Forgive others.
Forgive yourself.
Walk in grace. 🤍

Today we learned Bitterness can sneak into our hearts when we’ve been hurt. Sometimes people are mean, unfair, or say things that stick with us longer than they should. And the truth is—healing takes time. 💛
But as followers of Jesus, we’re called to respond differently. We don’t answer meanness with more meanness. Even on the cross, Jesus chose forgiveness. Because of that, we are called to forgive others too.
Letting go of bitterness isn’t always instant, but there are healthy ways to start releasing it:
• Forgive, even if it takes time.
• Journal your thoughts and feelings instead of holding them inside.
• Step outside and take a walk—fresh air can help clear your mind and heart.
Choosing forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened was okay. It means you’re choosing freedom instead of carrying the weight of bitterness.
Let’s be people who respond with grace, even when it’s hard. 💙
