💘 Happy Valentine’s Day 💘 from the students and faculty of the Xavier University of Louisiana Music Department!

One year ago, students showcased their musical talents in the Opera Workshop Production of ‘Seasons of Love: An HBCU Love Story’, Directed by Dr. Sakinah Davis, DMA ( ) with special guests, the band Take 5ive (Members: .lele ._04 ) performing during the intermission.

This production embodied the theme of love, including important aspects like adoration, heartbreak, and self-love. In this season of love, make sure you keep your eyes and ears open for everything Opera Workshop and the Music Building have to offer!

Yesterday evening, Dr. John Ware gave a lecture recital that touched on the topics of nationalism, patriotism, and faith. We at the Music department recognize and appreciate him for this opportunity.
