The delegation had an incredible week in New York at the 2026 National Model UN Conference! 🗽🇺🇳 Countless hours of dedication and commitment were put into preparation for the conference. The team brought home an Honorable Mention Award which is the equivalent of a bronze medal, along with one of our delegates earning a position paper award! Out of hundreds of schools, only a few dozen are recognized at NMUN, and we stood proudly alongside schools from across the region and nation. This hardworking team continues to give their best and strive to be outstanding representatives of UNO. And we can’t sign off without saying thank you once more to our donors, supporters, and staff/faculty who always show up for us, and a huge thanks for everyone who attended our welcome back party!

The delegation, along with our special guests, donors, and supporters, had a wonderful time at our send off party! We are deeply grateful for your support and contributions, which make our work and participation at conference possible.
We depart tomorrow morning for the NMUN conference in New York and we couldn’t be more excited.
While the start of the semester had its challenges, our delegation remained resilient and gave it our very best efforts. We are well prepared and eager to represent the university at such a prestigious event, and are ready to showcase the skills and newfound knowledge we’ve developed in class with others! 🇺🇳🇸🇳🇧🇫

Meet our MUN ‘26 team, this year we are representing Burkina Faso and Senegal 🇸🇳🇧🇫 ! We are so fortunate to have so many new and returning delegates who are dedicated and will achieve great things at conference this year in New York!
Recently, the delegation has had the honor of Masse Ndiaye as our guest speaker! He is incredibly insightful and was able to give us more knowledge and insight regarding our countries.
We will continue to have guest speakers as we prepare for conference that is approaching soon!
