“On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.” 🦅

We are pleased to announce that two Eagle Scouts soar among Brother Martin’s Class of 2026 graduates. Congratulations to Wyatt Hutchins of Troop 317 and Joey Nguyen of Troop 60 for earning this very rare honor! 👏

“In the end, Brother Martin did exactly what the quote on the wall promised. We learned not just how to make a living; we learned how to make a life. We were taught to live with purpose, serve others, and keep God at the center of everything, and for that, I will always be grateful.” — Brother Martin valedictorian, David LaVie ‘26

The voice in your head will automatically ring, “I bet he went to Brother Martin,” but you won’t have to ask. You’ll see it in how he carries himself, not with arrogance or self-superiority, but with humility and a desire to serve.

He’ll be respectful. He’ll be kind. Approachable. He’ll be the sort of man you can depend on, the kind that always shows up. The Brother Martin grad in front of you, most importantly, will reflect the love in the Heart of God, for you, because he’ll have been taught to recognize that sacred love in others, and in himself. When you meet a Brother Martin graduate, you won’t have to ask, but you will anyway, and he’ll confidently smile and say, “I went to Brother Martin.”

Congratulations to the Brother Martin Class of 2026. Our prayers go with you, always.

In their pursuit of Academic Excellence, students in Mr. McClain's AP Precalculus class prepared for their exam with a series of fun and collaborative review games. First, students played Trashketball, answering calculator-active Precalculus questions, writing their answers on pieces of paper, and tossing those crumpled up answers into a recycling bin (their score for making the shot depended on how many attempts they took to get the question correct). 🗑️

Next, students played Castle Attack, answering non-calculator Precalculus questions. Each question had a different strength level (from 1 to 5), which corresponded to the number of shields they could either destroy on an opponent's castle or defend on their own castle. An attack against a castle without any shields defending it destroyed that castle. 🏰
Great work, Crusaders!

Celebrating achievements of the graduating Class of 2026 🎉

“Mr. Falati has met the needs of our changing world, and ultimately, he has met students where they are, while demanding that they strive to get to where they need to be, through a commitment to Academic Excellence. In all that he has done, most of the time in an understated way that draws very little attention to himself, Mr. Falati has done his part to help ensure that – for 42 years – more than 40,000 students leave Brother Martin knowing that God loves them. Mr. Falati, in the final minutes of your final day of classroom instruction, we all thank you for your tireless commitment to Brother Martin High School.” — Principal Ryan Gallagher

Words fail when trying to express how grateful we are to Mr. David Falati for all that he has given for the sake of the young men of Elysian Fields Avenue. All we can say, is thank you.

Please join us in thanking Mr. Falati! 👏

The Brother Martin Class of 2026, their families, and our Partners in Mission gathered at St. Dominic Church to participate in our Graduation Mass on Sunday. Afterward, President Gregory Rando '77 finished his address to our graduating seniors by reminding them that "While the world awaits you, know that you always have a home on Elysian Fields Avenue, that we will always call you a Crusader, and that we will support you in all of your endeavors."
