👋🏼 Welcome to our new EMIG Exec Team!

👩🏻‍⚕️👩🏼‍⚕️ Tiff & Tess ( ) are taking on the Co-President role! We’re excited to share our enthusiasm about Emergency Medicine and organize all the fun events for the year.

🏔️ Heading up our Wilderness Chair is Griffin Cyphers (). He’ll be in charge of organizing events in conjuncture with SWAMP and other local wilderness groups.

🩻 Our Simulation Chair, Aaron Kurtti (), will coordinate our great faculty to help practicing essential procedures, such as chest tubes, central lines, intubation, and more!

🚑 The woman in charge of EMS Chair is Katie Dewane ()! She and her connections in New Orleans EMS are working to get EM-interested students a chance to do ride alongs and shadow shifts at UMC.

🖥️ Our Ultrasound Chair this year is Sam Skinner (.Sam) who will be working closely with Dr. Sam to bring us the best pearls on bed side ultrasound and eFAST exams!

🧠 Education Chair will be led by Akhil Kumar (), who will be spearheading our popular ‘Mergency Monday with awesome EM doc speakers and student-led Journal Clubs.
