Most business mistakes aren’t unique.
Somebody else has already made yours.

That's one of the biggest lessons I've learned after decades in business. We waste a LOT of time trying to figure things out ourselves.

Bad hire? Someone's been there.
Expanded too fast? Someone's done it.
Didn't adapt quickly enough? There's a business owner who can tell you exactly what that cost them.

And today, standing still might be the biggest pitfall of all.

What worked yesterday isn't going to work tomorrow. If you're not figuring out what's next, I guarantee you, somebody else is.

That's why I believe so strongly in surrounding yourself with experienced people.

You don't need to make every mistake yourself to learn from it. That's what a good network should do.

Google can tell you WHO to call. But it can’t tell you WHO to trust.

Need an accountant? Google it.
Marketing help? Google it.
Financing? You’ll find thousands of options.

But when your money, reputation, or business is on the line, what do most of us actually do?

We call somebody we trust and ask, “Who do you know?”
And more importantly, "Who do you recommend?"

That’s how I’ve operated for decades, and at some point I became the guy receiving those phone calls.
And after enough years in business, I’ve built a pretty big list of answers to that question. 😂

That’s what we’re building with WYP.

Not a directory of names.
