College store in uptown New Orleans is looking for a full time assistant manager to help run all of the daily functions that keep our store operating. We are a small community store that prides itself on great customer service and quality products and services. Applicants should be able to work ~40 hrs/wk including some Saturdays.
Job includes:
-Full-time keyholder
-Working closely with the owner and manager day in and day out.
-Working the sales floor, helping customers, running registers and writing orders.
-Learning and keeping track of lots of inventory. Pricing and stocking inventory.
-Learning and performing stores production processes (cutting and pressing twill and vinyl lettering) and making sure orders are completed on time and correctly.
-Making attractive product displays
-Closing down registers/store
-Requires a long learning curve due to the wide array of products, designs, customers and services we offer. Only serious applicants need apply.
Applicants should possess many or all of the following qualities:
-Friendly and outgoing. Always smiling.
-Incredibly responsible and trustworthy.
-Hardworking and reliable. Very reliable.
-Very detail oriented.
-Very organized.
-Self starting and motivated.
-Crafty, creative and at least slightly artistic.
-Knowledgeable of fashion trends, particularly women's.
-General working knowledge of computers.
-Knowledge of greek/college/uptown New Orleans life a plus, but not necessary.
