New Schools for New Orleans (NSNO) & GNO, Inc. are teaming up to bring our New Orleans area educators the 2nd Annual NOLA STEM Summit! This year, the summit will take place at New Orleans Career Center on Thursday, September 12, 2024 (8:30 - 4:00 PM). The cost is FREE! We will also provide a light breakfast and lunch. New Orleans as a city is unlike anywhere else in the country, and our system of schools is unlike anywhere else too. We are the first city where all public schools are charter schools, each with the agency to create its own unique culture.

In most cities, you can submit one application to apply for teaching positions across the entire school district. Given that each school or network in New Orleans manages its own hiring, the fastest and easiest way to get your resume to all schools is by participating in the Teach New Orleans resume drop.

If you have teaching experience and want your resume to be shared with all public schools in New Orleans, you can upload it here and it will be shared with all 83 public schools in the city.

ICYMI: Louisiana teachers and school support staff will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine beginning Monday, February 22nd.

LAPCS and Caroline Roemer proudly advocated for educators to be on the vaccine priority list! Thank you, Governor John Bel Edwards, Louisiana Department of Health, and the Louisiana Department of Education for making this happen for Louisiana educators.
