Horsemanship Class #7 on Horse Handling and Longeing! The students had a blast learning about barn saftey, how to tie safety knots and longeing. They even got a lunge line lesson! Such a fun afternoon!

Equest Farm, located in the north section of New Orleans City Park, strives to provide a wholesome and aesthetically pleasing environment for the general public to enjoy the majesty of horses in an urban environment. Our horsemanship class on First aid and Bandaging was a blast! The students first practiced standing wraps on each other so they could feel how it works and feel the pressure on their legs! Then we practiced on our patient school ponies! They learned so quickly!! Our next class is September 11th on Horse Handling 🐴! We hope to see yall there!

Camp Week Photo Dump! Every Friday our campers have a “Horse Show” day and parents are welcome to come watch and see their kids progress! At the end of their lesson they get a certificate that the other groups give the kids 🥰!
