In honor of Memorial Day and all of our veterans, thank you so much to all who have served our country.

As Pastor Anthony spoke to us this morning as we walked around the monument, we were reminded of how blessed we are to call this country home, and we thank everyone who has made this possible. Yet while our country is so beautiful, there is still such a great need for the gospel. So today, we pray for all those who have sacrificed and served our country, and we pray for our home mission field, that the Gospel would continue to be spread.

For CCI’s trip this month, we journeyed to North Dakota! Connecting with AGUSM Pastor Albert Lautenschlauger, we were able to serve at Lakewood Park Bible Camp for their work week. From helping with maintenance, laying a new ball field, painting, and other projects, we had the privilege to prepare their campground for kids to come and experience the presence of God this summer.

This Saturday, we had the opportunity to serve on a ranch that had suffered damage from a tornado. And to close out our time in ND, we were honored to spend Pentecost Sunday ministering alongside Pastor Brian Skaar at Binford Gospel Tabernacle Church. CCI led worship, Pastor Anthony preached a powerful sermon, and several interns shared testimonies of how God is moving in their lives.

Compassion Corps International is back on the road🚐

So far we stopped in Chicago with the Wyrostek’s and YWAM, then camped in Minnesota. Now we are heading to North Dakota to partner with and serve there! Stay tuned for what God uses CCI to do there!

This week, CCI had an amazing time serving at Kids Con with 86 kids joining us for worship, games, and to learn about Jesus and grow in their faith. It was awesome to see our Louisiana district PK’s and MK’s encounter God in such a special way!

This week, kids learned:
• We must not let anger control us (Psalm 4:4)
• God will provide for every need we have (Philippians 4:19)
• We must be in God’s presence daily (Matthew 5:16)
• God will guide us through the twists and turns of life (Psalm 32:8)

It was truly such an honor to pour back into our PK’s and MK’s and spend time investing in the next generation of ministry families. Watching these kids worship, laugh, and have fun learning about Jesus was such a blessing.

We also want to celebrate Pastor Josiah Freeman, who was recognized for receiving his credentials as a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God! So well deserved!

So thankful for this week and all that God has done, and the testimonies that are already coming from this!
