When you're feeling frustrated with your middle schooler, keep these facts in mind. Middle school is also one of the hardest times in a growing child's life. The biggest struggle I hear is that the expectations from parents get so much bigger, but the kids still feel stuck between little kid and big kid. Make sure your expectations are in line with good mental health. What are your expectations based from.....fear? Other people's expectations? What your parents did? Life isn't a race, take care of your child's heart and mind before you take care of expectations.
