At Mind Coach NOLA we believe:

There is no such thing as failure; there is only success and learning. Every individual has the innate talent they need to find success. Every person can benefit from a coach. Founded by Adela Baker in 2016, Mind Coach NOLA helps Turbo Thinkers (adults with ADHD) who are adventurous, online professionals, curious, creative, wanderers, explorers, global citizens and more to overcome executive function challenges by embracing neurodiversity, focusing on empowerment and self-advocacy, celebrating strengths of ADHD and having a growth mindset within a collaborative and non-judgmental environment.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be speaking at the ADDvance Conference this October alongside my colleague and dear friend, .

Our session, “Beyond Competencies: The Hidden Curriculum of Mentor Coaching,” explores something we don’t often talk about: what happens after certification.

Many ADHD coaches discover that their greatest growth comes not from learning more techniques, but from learning to navigate perfectionism, performance anxiety, cognitive overload, and the tendency to work harder than our clients.

Mentor coaching isn’t just about checking a credentialing box. It’s about becoming a more grounded, confident, and transformational coach.
