Part-Time Nanny / Caregiver – Angie, LA
NOLA Nannies LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Part-Time Nanny/Caregiver to support a wonderful family in Angie, Louisiana.
The selected caregiver will provide attentive, one-on-one care for a young child with special medical considerations while her mother transitions back to work.
We are looking for someone who is nurturing, patient, dependable, and comfortable following additional health, hygiene, and safety precautions within the home.
Position Details
Location: Angie, Louisiana
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 24–28 hours per week
Pay: $15–$27/hour, depending on experience
Start Date: To be discussed with selected candidate
Position Type: In-home childcare/caregiving
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, nurturing one-on-one care
Follow the child’s established daily routine
Engage in age-appropriate activities, play, and interaction
Prepare simple meals and snacks as needed
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the child
Follow all family-provided health, hygiene, and safety protocols
Complete light tidying related to the child’s care
Communicate openly and professionally with the parent regarding the child’s day
Respect the family’s privacy and maintain strict confidentiality
Ideal Candidate
We especially encourage applicants with a combination of childcare and caregiving experience to apply.
Qualified backgrounds may include:
Professional nanny experience
Home health aide experience
CNA or similar caregiving experience
Pediatric caregiving experience
Experience supporting children or individuals who require additional health and safety precautions
Requirements
Previous professional nanny, childcare, home health aide, CNA, or comparable caregiving experience
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Strong professional references
CPR/First Aid certification
Dependable, patient, compassionate, and attentive
Comfortable adhering to enhanced health and hygiene protocols
Ability to maintain complete confidentiality regarding the family and child’s personal information
