Hip/Shoulder Separation aka Lower-Upper Dissociation 🔄🏌️♂️COMMENT “TRAIN” and I’ll send you THE GOLF MOVEMENT Pathfinder Quiz.
The ability to independently separate your upper and lower body is a huge piece of creating an efficient golf swing.
Your hips and torso shouldn’t move as one solid block. Developing the ability to rotate, stabilize, and sequence these segments independently can help you create better separation and transfer more speed through the golf swing. 💥
Here are 🔟 exercises I use to train it:
➕ Oblique Windmills
➕ Hip Initiation Separation
➕ Step Back Hips First Row
➕ Hip-Shoulder Separation Rotations
➕ Explosive Rotational Step Ups
➕ Crow Hop Step to Punch
➕ Step Drill Bounce
➕ Step to Chest Press Slam
➕ Step Back to Slam
➕ Upper Stabilization Lower Separation
You don’t just need MORE rotation.
You need the ability to CONTROL and SEQUENCE rotation. 🧠⚡️
