Today is the day! In our city, too many students experience trauma w/o consistent access to support. This work is about changing that reality by making sure our students are in environments where they feel supported, understood, and ready to learn. Support today! GiveNola.org/communityacademies

Earth Day! Bringing it back to a few weeks ago to say we are grateful. Grateful to United Way for showing up at Esperanza Foundational & helping us pour into our campus through a beautification day. It takes a village, and moments like this remind us how powerful community care can be.

This Black History Month, Esperanza students visited the Cabildo & the Presbytere to learn more about the history that lives right here in New Orleans. One of our 6th graders even spotted her great grandfather’s name on a plaque in the museum! A reminder that history is not just something we learn about, it is something our families helped shape!

Every student needs someone in their corner. We’re so thankful for all of our school counselors today and every day. 💐
