The moment you start comparing your life and relationship to others you are choosing to be unhappy. To feel more confident fight the urge to let other couple's romantic benchmarks dictate yours. There's an old saying that says: "Comparison is the thief of joy." Learn to put your blinders on and focus on you and yours. With social media being a part of life, so many couples reveal all the happy stuff and leave out the blowout arguments, the dissatisfaction or the boring nights at home, they only show one side - the happy one. Getting caught up in the "it's greener on the other side" is toxic and it blinds you to the good things about your own relationship and leads to sadness and resentment. Relationships are not about finding the perfect partner but learning to love your imperfect partner perfectly. Don't aspire to be like a couple you only see when they are having fun and what others think of you is none of your business and really there is no comparison. Don't compare your chapter 1 with their chapter 20.

The truth is not what it "seems,"" it's what it is," regardless of disbelief or ignorance. Your freedom of choice allows you to accept what is or to live according to what isn't truthful, the choice is yours.

Have you had any water today? Water is like gas in your car, so you NEED water. Water can be refreshing but is not a beverage for enjoyment. What do you mean you don't like water and you can't really drink it? Think about it, your body is made up of about 75% water. The lungs are water, the skin is water, the blood and kidneys, even the bones are made up of water. You must try to drink MORE WATER!
