Feeling so grateful. My feed is full of Osteosarcoma dogs that we have to say goodbye to after only a few months.

Every month that goes by for me is both wonderful and scary. We want every day we can get, and we don’t ever want them to add up. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way in life.

It’s been 7 months since diagnosis, and I feel so good. I run around like crazy and steal all of the food I can find. I’m the happiest boy despite it all, and that makes me very lucky. I truly am doing GREAT, and maybe I’ll set the world record for living with Osteosarcoma. Why not?

Living like Bowie takes intention and daily choice. Don’t miss the great days because you’re afraid of tomorrow. Steal all the snacks you can when no one is watching.

Or something like that. 🐾

I did it!! One amputation, two rounds of immunotherapy, and six rounds of chemotherapy DONE! 🔔

I’ll continue to have chest X-Rays every 3 months to monitor any signs of metastasis, but for now there remains “no evidence of disease”! 🙌

So much thanks to FETCH-A-Cure, CBS 6 and Zach Daniel, and my NKCPS family for helping to make this treatment possible. I’m praying it gives me a really long time to keep doing what I love - being a River Otter!! 🦦

Connecting with “Fetch A Cure” has been one of the best parts of being diagnosed with cancer, and 1 in 4 dogs will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Fetch helped to make my amputation and chemo even possible during a time my mom was in shock and devastated (…I was fine, there were a lot of pup cups that month 🤪).

Come raise some money to help make treatment possible for others and enjoy the beautiful day with me!
