What a fun sight to see!

It's not every day that you see a life-size dinosaur flying above our capital city! An enormous crane was used to hoist an animatronic T. rex who measures some 20' tall and almost 50' long. The giant T. rex is part of the Extreme Dinosaurs exhibit that is opening April 4. The life-size and life-like wonder is housed outside on the plaza looking into Science Alley, nicknamed the "dino paddock". Special thanks to the Hartford Police department for helping us orchestrate this amazing feat. With exhibit sponsors WFSB - Channel 3 Eyewitness News and Hartford Courant.
