What a summer it has been for us.

It started off with our oldest getting married.

And then our middle child began his application process of joining a police dept after he graduates from college in December.

And now our youngest (our baby!) is working his last day at CFA today before heading tomorrow to South Carolina for college.

Life flies by so quickly! Enjoy every little moment with your children while you have them home with you. You will never regret that.

📸 National Night Out 2026 in New Freedom, PA!

Last week, I had the privilege of serving as the volunteer event photographer for New Freedom's National Night Out, hosted by the Southern Regional Police Department at Marge Goodfellow Community Park.

It was a wonderful evening of community - first responders, families, fire trucks, a police helicopter, bounce houses, LEGO racing, giant yard games, free food and frozen treats, local organizations, giveaways, and plenty of kids having fun!

Some of my favorite moments were the little moments happening everywhere - children interacting with first responders, families spending time together, volunteers helping their neighbors, and people simply enjoying an evening in the park.

Tonight, August 4th, is National Night Out at Marge Goodfellow Park in New Freedom, PA from 5pm - 7pm! There will be free food, music, free activities, bounce houses, yard games, raffle prizes, a fire truck demonstration, a helicopter takeoff (weather permitting), and more!

Come out and enjoy this great community event and meet our local first responders!

PhotoArtGraphy’s Collaborative Modeling Photo Shoots are an opportunity to step in front of the camera, try something new, build confidence, experiment with different looks and poses, and create some great photos along the way.

These collaborative shoots can be a great fit for aspiring models, actors, dancers, content creators - or anyone who has simply wondered what it would be like to model.

Giving Back to Our Community

PhotoArtGraphy is proud to call New Freedom, Pennsylvania home - and we believe photography and videography can be one small way to give back to the communities around us.

We are now accepting requests from local schools, churches, nonprofits, and community organizations for a limited number of complimentary event photography or videography opportunities.

Our primary focus is on organizations and community events in New Freedom, Shrewsbury, Railroad, and Maryland Line, with requests from elsewhere in Southern York County and nearby Northern Maryland considered on a case-by-case basis.

Availability is limited, and all requests are reviewed individually based on our schedule and the nature of the event. The earlier you contact us, the better!

I still can’t get this out of my memory. July 21, 2023 - 3 years ago this week - my wife & I were at a local restaurant, when we received a call from our middle child saying that he & his younger brother “had been in an accident.”

“Can you move the vehicle to the side of the road?” My wife asked.

“Not really,” he said.

We rushed out of the restaurant to where the accident had taken place, perhaps a mile away from us. And I pulled out my phone as I was walking toward a totaled vehicle.

I didn’t expect to see that. Maybe a fender bender, but not this!

The driver of the other vehicle, also a teenager, had been going around a curve and later said that he had bent down to pick up something; at which time he went across the double yellow line. And my two boys then did a head-on collision with his vehicle.

By God’s grace, both of our boys were ok - just shaken up and some bruises & soreness that eventually went away.
