In Valedictory Function Smt Saradha Murlidharan, chief secretary, govt. of Kerala was the chief guest. Welcome address in the session was delivered by Shri Rajesh P.N., chairman Kerala Regional Chapter ITPI. It was also addressed by TPr. N.K. Patel, President ITPI and major recommendations in the conference were presented by TPr. Anoop Kumar Srivastava. TPr. Pradeep Kapoor read the citation of best thesis awards which were given to the winners by the chief guest.

Technical Session IV (The Local Theme on Local Democracy and Spatial Planning in Kerala)
This session was chaired by Dr. Sharmila Mary Joseph, IAS, Principal Secretary, LSGD. Govt. of Kerala. Shri S.M. Vijayanand IAS (Retd), Former Chief Secretary and chairperson Sixth State Finance Commission, Govt. of Kerala was the Guest of Honour. Key speakers in the session were Shri Jacob Easow, Former Additional Chief Town Planner, Kerala, Shri Baiju K., Senior Town Planner (Retd) Kerala, Dr. Mohammed Firoz, Associate Prof. NIT Calicut and Shri. Uday Chander Dy. Director MSRDC, Mumbai. Shri Anil Kumar Ray, Associate Professor, CEPT University and TPr. Rahana H. Town Planner LSGD PIU, Kerala were the rapporteurs.

Technical Session III (Blue-Green Economy Resilient Future)
It was chaired by Smt. Anumita Roychowdhry Executive Director CSE, New Delhi. Dr. R. Ajaykumar Verma, Chairman, State Environment Appraisal Committee Kerala was the chief guest and Shri Pulkit Garg IAS, Vice Chairman, Varanasi, Development Authority, Uttar Pradesh was the Guest of Honour. Shri Rajneesh Sareen, Program Director, Sustainable Habitat Programme, CSE, New Delhi, Dr. Banhi Chakraborthy, Ex-Faculty, Dept. of Architecture and Planning, IIT Kharagpur and Dr. Reshma Vilasan, Asst. Prof. Nitte School of Architecture Planning and Design, Bangalore, Karnataka were the key speakers. Shri S.R. Rajendhiran Secretary, ITPI Tamil Nadu Regional Chapter and Shri Jubair Siddequee, Planning Dept, College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram were the rapporteurs in the session.
