Do you want to bring a unique cultural experience to your school? Encourage members of your school community to enrich their lives by adding an AFS exchange student to their family for the 26-27 school year! Hosting an AFS student brings global perspectives into schools, homes, and communities.
Please, consider adding this message to your next newsletter or explore other ways to identify host families in your school community.
Several outstanding AFS students are currently available to come to our community for the 2026-27 school year! Students like
Emma (F, 16, Italy) – an animal lover who enjoys cooking and video games and wants to become a criminologist.
Moreno (M, 17, Italy) – a friendly student who loves basketball, water activities like paddleboarding, cooking pasta dishes, and studying computer science.
Annabelle “Anni” (F, 16, Germany) – a friendly student who plays piano, dances, and loves basketball.
Floyd (M, 16, Germany) – a responsible student who enjoys playing piano, downhill skiing, going to the gym, and studying history and technology.
Host families provide a welcoming home, meals, and inclusion in daily life, creating a meaningful cultural exchange for families, students, and the whole community. To learn more about hosting or recommending a host family, visit afsusa.org/host or contact me. Dr. Barbara Y. Wills at [email protected].
Thanks for helping to share this life-changing opportunity,

Passionate about world peace? Me too! That's why I volunteer with AFS USA — an organization that fosters cross-cultural understanding by creating international exchange opportunities for students and educators.
Want to join us? Here's how you can get involved:
🌍 Host a student: Open your home to a teenage ambassador from another country - maybe even one of the ones below! https://www.afsusa.org/host-family/
🤝 Volunteer: Opportunities include activities like helping to recruit host families and supporting students during their stay. https://www.afsusa.org/volunteer-with-afs/
