💙⚽ Thanks to Achilles NYC Coach Lindsey, Team Achilles Kids NYC Achilles International , Viktor has won tickets to the FIFA World Cup 2026!

And the best part: he’ll get to experience it alongside his dad, Carlos Peña , who will be his chaperone. 🥹

Watching Germany 🇩🇪 at a World Cup has been a dream for our family for years, and now Viktor gets to be part of that dream.

Some dreams take time, but they’re worth every step of the journey.

🇺🇸🏃‍♂️💙 Today Viktor completed 1.6 miles in 35:45 with his Achilles International team.

Every mile is a reminder that progress is built one step, one effort, and one victory at a time.

Now we keep training and getting ready for our next challenge: the Flushing Meadows Kids Run at the Citizens Queens 10K - Stage 1 with New York Road Runners. 🏅

One step at a time.

🏅 Primera carrera en el NYRR Child Care for All – 2K for 2-K 🏅

Hoy no ganó una carrera.

Hoy venció el miedo.

Lo que comenzó con nervios, lágrimas, ansiedad y muchos “no quiero”, terminó con Viktor cruzando la meta. ❤️

Estaba tan nervioso que no quería separarse de mí, así que terminé corriendo con él para que se sintiera seguro. Y aunque no fue la carrera que imaginé, fue mucho más importante.

Porque detrás de cada niño que logra algo grande, hay momentos que nadie ve: las dudas, los miedos y el enorme esfuerzo que implica dar ese primer paso.

Hoy aprendí que la valentía no significa no tener miedo. Significa seguir adelante a pesar de él.

Estoy increíblemente orgullosa de ti, Viktor. No por correr 2 kilómetros, sino por atreverte a intentarlo. 🏃‍♂️💙✨
