🎮🔥 GAME ON. LEVEL UP. UNLOCK YOUR POTENTIAL! 🔥🎮
Yesterday we powered up in a BIG way! Our 3rd–5th graders came together for our very first Friday Power Up as we celebrated completing our first full week of school! ❤️🐾
We kicked things off by announcing our class colors, celebrating attendance incentives, setting goals, learning about Wildcat Bucks, and getting a little competitive with an epic Teacher vs. Student Challenge! 🙌
Most importantly, we reminded our Wildcats that every day is an opportunity to level up, grow, and unlock their potential. We hope our oldest students left feeling inspired, energized, and ready to take on the next level!
And we’re just getting started! 🎉 Next Friday, our PK–2nd grade Wildcats will have their very own Power Up!

We wrapped up our first week of school with a little excitement as we spun the wheel to see who would be our Annual Forms Contest Winner! 🎡
Every student who completed their annual forms by the contest deadline had their name added to the wheel—and Friday, one lucky student heard her name called! 🥳
A huge THANK YOU to our parents and families for making sure those forms were completed on time. Your help makes a difference!

The 2026 TEA A–F Accountability Ratings are here, and Timber Lakes Elementary has so much to celebrate! 🎉
Our Wildcats made tremendous academic growth last school year—moving from a D to a C and growing +11 points! 📈👏
This growth didn’t happen by chance. The work was intentional, the focus was purposeful, and our students, teachers, and staff worked together to move learning forward. At Timber Lakes, we are committed to knowing our students, meeting them where they are, and helping every student make meaningful progress toward academic success.
Splendora ISD believes accountability is about more than a state rating. Through our Community-Based Accountability System, we remain committed to meaningful measures of student growth, ensuring that every student is challenged through high-quality instruction and meaningful learning experiences.

We are incredibly proud of this progress—and we know there is still more work to do. We will continue to be intentional, focused, and committed to growing every student.

The halls of TLE were filled with smiling faces, excited energy, and the joy of being together again! Our first day back was all about welcoming our Wildcats, reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new friends, and beginning to build the relationships that make our school so special. 🥰

🚀 Robotics Challenge Level Teams for FIRST Robotics and Ag Robotics – Applications Open! 🚀
📣 Calling all 3rd–8th grade students who are ready to take on robotics at the Challenge Level!
Application Window:
🗓 August 6–August 16th
Important Information:
If you were on a team last year, you still need to apply.
This application is for grades 3-8 only.
3rd graders are eligible to compete on Ag Robotics teams only, not FIRST Robotics teams. Please read the entire application.
Applications are online at this link.
Parent consent is required due to after-school practice times; parents need to read and complete this application link with their child.
✅ No teacher recommendation form this year – just complete the application!
What’s Next:
Teams will be formed and notified by August 21st.
Practices begin the week of August 24th.
The first week of practice will include coaches and teammates signing a robotics handbook and code of conduct; you must adhere to the expectations of competing on a team per the Robotics Handbook.
Practice dates and times will be shared once coaches are set and teams are formed.
