Congratulations to Sister Virginia Bruen, OP, former director of Siena Learning Center, who was recently honored by the YWCA New Britain for her years of dedicated service to the Center and the community. 💙

Recognized during the organization’s Leadership Awards Celebration, Sister Virginia was celebrated for the lasting impact she has made as both a director and tutor.

We extend our congratulations to Maria on successfully obtaining her U.S.A citizenship and to her esteemed tutor, John Coughlin, for his outstanding efforts in guiding her through this process. Through diligent work, Maria, a 25-year resident of America and accomplished business owner, has achieved this significant milestone.

For Srs. Ana Gonzalez and June Fitzgerald, that call includes walking with young women as they discern their vocation, like Sr. Annie Killian, who made her Perpetual Vows this year. For Sr. Jane Belanger, it means tending the farm, even in retirement. For Sr. Gemma Doll, it’s daily advocacy for justice. And for 96-year-old Sr. Josetta Mayer, it’s knitting hundreds of hats to keep neighbors warm.
