Rahe Bulverde Elementary gathered for a heartfelt dedication ceremony honoring Avery Carter with the dedication of the Avery Carter Buddy Bench. ❤️

Our hearts were heavy as we remembered Avery, but the love, support, and sense of community surrounding this special moment were truly powerful. Her beloved school now has a meaningful addition to its playground that will carry on Avery’s memory and her beautiful devotion to friendship.

May this Buddy Bench serve as a lasting reminder of Avery’s kindness, compassion, and the importance of making sure no one feels alone. Her legacy of friendship will continue to touch the lives of students for years to come. 💕🫶

Yesterday, we had the privilege of welcoming back the incredible teachers and staff across our district at the Comal ISD Opening of Schools Ceremony! ❤️💙💜💚

It was such a fun and inspiring event as we celebrated the start of another school year together. We were also honored to hear from our special guest speaker, Chris Larsen, who brought an incredible message to kick off the year! 🙌

🎉 Texas PTA LAUNCH 2026 was an incredible experience for our Comal ISD PTAs! 🎉

This year, 74 Comal ISD PTA leaders attended Texas PTA LAUNCH, including 31 first-time attendees eager to learn, grow, and bring fresh ideas back to their campuses. We were also honored to have three amazing Comal ISD principals join us for this inspiring event!

Throughout the conference, our PTA leaders participated in engaging workshops, collaborated in focus groups, developed valuable leadership skills, and connected with fellow volunteers from across our 589-square-mile district. These opportunities to learn, share ideas, and build relationships strengthen our PTAs and, ultimately, the students, teachers, and families we serve.

A special congratulations to our very own Mrs. Delgado from Hill Country College Preparatory High School, who was named Texas PTA Secondary Teacher of the Year! 🏆 We are incredibly proud of this well-deserved recognition and grateful to have such an outstanding educator representing Comal ISD.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who invested their time and energy in making our PTAs stronger. Your passion, teamwork, and dedication continue to make a lasting impact on our schools and communities.
