While this post is delayed, my gratitude is not diminished. Thank you Alisia McClain for including Tek4Kids in the TECC-Boss Summer Works program! The opportunity was invaluable and gave these women an incredible experience. Thank you to the TECC-Boss team who led us through 7 weeks of Zoom sessions to collaborate, learn Python, IoT training, and to create an app to report on a water level sensor. Angelica McClain, Jade Brown, Aysia Phillips, & Ra are amazing leaders!

On World Water Day and every day, providing clean drinking water to improve students’ well-being is one of the cornerstones of Tek4Kids’ work in Haiti. For a decade now, Tek4Kids cooperates with its partner schools as distribution points for 10,000 gallons of purified water weekly!

Tek4Kids celebrates International Women's Day! "March 8th is an important date for women. It is an opportunity for all of us to reflect on the living conditions of women and what we can do to improve them. It is also a reminder to women of this generation that others who came before them have fought a challenging battle and that they must do the same in order to change the status quo and create a more equal society.” -- Marthe Auguste, St. Francis School of Technology graduate and current Technology Integrators Caribbean employee

Using Education and Technology to Bridge the Poverty Gap

Tech Student Tuesdays! During December, we're introducing some of our technology students in Jeremie, Haiti. "I am a beneficiary of the Tek4Kids program starting in high school. I had a good experience and thanks to Tek4Kids, I was able to acquire an extra level of skill in office computing and typing. Because I took the program seriously, many doors have opened for me. I am now working for the United Nations Development Program. I am grateful for Tek4Kids because it has greatly contributed to my success." -- Mack Chender Barthelemy, 3rd year student at St. Francis School of Technology
