Presentation & Showcase Schedule

Our presentation part of the program will start approximately at 5:15pm. Students will go by location groups on stage and discuss the business they chose to feature in our Visitors Guide. We will also have an interactive showcase where people can get a CWSA passport stamped by each individual student throughout the night

CWSA Showcase & Referendum Update

The Central Wisconsin STEM Academy (CWSA) is more than just a classroom, it’s a hub for innovation, hands-on learning, and future-ready skills. But right now, this vital program is on the line.

We invite the entire community to see the incredible work our students are doing at our upcoming event:

✨ CWSA Showcase ✨

📆 When: Thursday, March 26
⏰ Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 Where: CWSA (located within Alexander Middle School)

CWSA provides a unique Project-Based Learning environment for 6th–8th grade students.

If the April 7th operating referendum fails, the district faces $1.4 million in mandatory budget cuts. These cuts would include:
• Total elimination of the CWSA program (1 teacher, 1 assistant).
• Students being absorbed into standard AMS classes, reducing specialized options.
• A loss of the "hands-on" ingenuity and 21st-century business skills that CWSA fosters.

✨ The Impact of the Referendum ✨

• Cost to Taxpayers: Approximately $2 per year for every $100,000 of property value.
• Example: A $500,000 home would see an increase of just $10 per year.
