You can now find Kamp Klein Supervisions a safe zone for parental custody exchanges! When using our parking lot, we ask that you use the spaces for the signs and allow our supervised visitation family’s to use the other space.

Let’s talk about court!

When we are asked to testify in court, it doesn’t matter which attorney requests us. The fact is a child custody supervisor is a neutral party that is there to simply report facts. Facts on what transpired during the supervised visitation with the parent and any other possible scenarios that could have occurred while the child was present with the supervisor.

Many times, we have parents or their family members that get upset and think a “side” was taken just because the supervisor appears in court at an attorney’s request. No sides are ever taken here at Kamp Klein Supervisions. We make a commitment to remain a neutral party for your child and their best interest! 💛☀️💛

Let’s talk Reunifications!

Did you know that here at Kamp Klein, we love reunification visits? But what is a reunification visit??

This type of visitation is when a parent has not been in the child’s life for an extended period of time. The purpose of reunification visits is to safely bring the child and parent together in a laid back, homelike, therapeutic setting. The goal leaving Kamp Klein Supervisions (however long that may take) is for the parent to show basic level parenting skills and that they can safely, without issues take care of the basic needs of the child. The children must show that they are not scared or upset being around that parent and both parties must show the supervisor that there is growth between the two in their relationship.

Are the “safe zones” in Southeast Texas good enough for child custody exchanges?

It’s a question I often ask people when they tell me that’s where they go to exchange their children. While the idea is good, and it can be useful for many situations, things still happen. This past weekend, there was a tragic event and 2 men are dead at a safe exchange zone in a different state. (Read attached article)

At Kamp Klein, we tailor exchanges to where the parents will never see each other eliminating any prospect of something like this to occur. If you are using these safe zones for exchanges but feel that you need a little more security, reach out to me and let’s talk about how we can help you!

Vinton Police told WDBJ7 on Tuesday, they were just as shocked as the rest of the community that something like this could happen there.
