Today’s Senior Mother-Son Luncheon was the perfect way to celebrate before the big day. We can’t wait for our seniors to wear their new hats officially as MBA alumni!

T-minus one week until graduation! We’re counting down and throwing it back for the Class of 2026 🎓

MBA Choir 🤝 Michigan Men’s Glee Club

Our Chamber Choir and Head of School Singers took the stage on Sunday alongside the incredible . Thank you, Michigan Men’s Glee Club, for joining us and making this one so special. This was the perfect performance to close out the year for MBA Choir!

We’re soaking up these last moments with our seniors on The Hill, including a special evening at Leavers’ Dinner. It’s a bittersweet stretch to graduation as we celebrate all they’ve accomplished and all that’s still to come!

Montgomery Bell Academy is pleased to announce that Mr. Thomas Wims has been appointed Director of the Junior School beginning with the 2026–27 academic year.

A highly respected teacher, coach, and mentor, Mr. Wims will begin his 35th year at MBA this fall. Since joining the faculty in 1992, he has served in a variety of teaching and leadership roles across both the Junior School and High School, earning the admiration of students, parents, faculty, and alumni alike.

MBA congratulates Mr. Wims on this important appointment and looks forward to his leadership in the years ahead.

We’re already feeling nostalgic for this spring semester on The Hill 🥲

Happy last day of classes!

Ethan Sides, Nikhil Misra, and Res Seibels were awarded the prestigious National Merit $2,500 Scholarship, placing them among just 2,500 students selected nationwide from a pool of more than 15,000 finalists. They earned the highly competitive scholarship after first being named National Merit Scholarship Finalists earlier this year. 👏

Congratulations to Dr. Gabe Carro, Mr. Greg Ferrell, Mrs. Kit Lechlieter, Mr. Barry McAlister, and Mrs. Caroline Scholer on their retirement!

Together, the 2026 retirees represent a combined 95 years of service to the school, with each spending more than a decade on The Hill and impacting the lives of hundreds of boys. We congratulate each of them and wish them the very best in this next stage of life! Roll Red!
