Loftis Umpire School
My name is Travis and I'm a graduate of HWUS back in 2006.
My goal is to run free school to train people who wants to become umpires in youth sports and hopefully keep them umpiring games for many years.

It's great honor to name the ceremonial first pitch for the 2026 DYS District IV tournament at Metro Parks Nashville Charlotte Park. Her name is Hope Harbin and she joins Ava Harp (2024) and Krislynn Penick (2025) on the Travis Loftis Umpire School Ceremonial First Pitch Trophy Tournament Honorees. Congratulations Hope.

Barry Mano, founder of Referee Magazine and the National Association of Sports Officials (NASO), died last night at 82. Barry spent nearly 50 years championing sports officials, building Referee and NASO into the leading voice and advocacy organization for officiating at all levels.
