So I talked to students about exploring the Guitar on their own so I wanted to take a video of what that actually looks like. Lots of different things come up in this video. New ideas, small bits, and pieces of working on techniques, I’m worried about my body tension and my right and left hand being as relaxed as possible. But I’m not stopping in between each different concept they work on. I’m just letting it all flow and happen naturally. If you do something enough times you’ll become good at it. It really is that simple. This video is pretty long so props if you make it through the whole thing. Happy Sunday!

A student asked me to record a video of me using the Eb Ionian scale over the solo section in “Cause We’ve Ended As Lovers” which is in C minor. This way they can see how changing the position you play a scale in affects the sound of what you play.
