Think you might be hypermobile? 👀

Schedule a free 30-minute consultation with me and we can talk about the type of strength training that will actually help your body feel more stable and supported.

A lot of people with hypermobility feel “tight” all the time, but often the issue isn’t that the muscles are too short. It’s that the joints don’t feel stable, so the muscles are constantly working overtime to protect you.

That’s why stretching alone usually isn’t enough.

Creating strength, control, and stability can help your nervous system feel safer in your body and that can change everything.

The Beighton Score is one tool we use to screen for generalized hypermobility. If you scored high on this test and deal with chronic tightness, pain, instability, or frequent injuries, your body may benefit from a different approach than “just stretch more.”

Want help figuring out what your body actually needs? Send me a message or schedule a consult 💪

How’s your balance?

Balance is about so much more than “not falling.”

Your balance depends on 3 major systems working together:
👀 Vision
🌀 Your vestibular system (inner ear)
🦶 Proprioception: your body’s awareness of where you are in space

As we age, these systems can become less efficient if we don’t challenge them regularly. The good news? Balance is something you can practice and improve.

Proprioceptive balance work, things like standing on one leg, changing surfaces, or practicing controlled movement, can help improve stability, coordination, and confidence in your body over time.

Balance training isn’t just for older adults or after injury. It’s one of the best ways to help set yourself up for success as you age.
