ASCE Nashville Bridge Building Competition

Tomorrow’s Bridge Building competition (March 4, 2023) has been cancelled due to the effects of the severe weather today. The competition will be rescheduled for a later day, check back for updates!

Here are the results:
1st Place- Jessica Baker from Blackman High School; Supported 10.125 g, Bridge Mass 15.08 g, Efficiency 671.44
2nd Place- Ayah Ahmad from Blackman High School; Supported 8.5 g, Bridge Mass 13.58 g, Efficiency 625.88
3rd Place- Hunter McCoy from East Hickman High School; Supported 10.877 g, Bridge Mass 17.5 g, Efficiency 621.52

Congratulations to all the participants this year! 24 students from Pope John Paul II, Blackman, East Hickman, John Overton, and Cane Ridge High Schools came to test their bridges. Thanks to all the teachers, volunteers, and students that made this happen!
